my eyes are playing tricks on me
last night was shadows, today are dancing lights.
like fairies trying to say hello.
i would say hello back but it would affirm that im crazy to my classmates.
let them think im somewhat normal for a lil longer.
i yearn to go with the fairies.
to a land a long ways away.
Freedom comes with it.

There is one thing, no one PERSON,
who chains me solidly to this world.
I'd have it no other way.
he is my world, my heart, my love.
he chases the shadows away,
and when fairies come for me,
he tells them:
"I'm sorry but she is mine and you may not take her away"

for who knows if the fairies are TRULY good...
perhaps they're not fairies but pixies,
and spritesthat enjoy causing mischief.
who knows what my fate would be if i went with them.
as long as i have Steve i care not if i know.
